Music Therapy

Depending upon each patient’s individual needs and condition, music therapy can be quite beneficial. It can meet a wide range of patient needs, including emotional, spiritual, cognitive, social and physical.

The types of instruments and music played are as varied as our holistic therapy staff. Some examples are: harp, guitar, flute, piano, and reverie harp (the compact kind that lays flat and can be played even by some patients).

A core value of Compassionate Care Hospice is human connection.
Holistic therapies can be just as, if not more, effective in relieving various forms of pain and discomfort than traditional methods. Arranging these services is as easy as simply asking your hospice team to arrange them for you.
