Compassionate Care Hospice Opens a New Program in Houston, Texas!

Pediatric Hospice

compassionate care 4 kids, providing hospice services for children

It is an unfortunate fact that some children are born with or develop life-limiting illnesses. It can be frightening the first time a family hears that their child is not expected to survive their childhood years. However, predicting the exact length and course of their disease process is very difficult. This is the time when Compassionate Care 4 Kids can help.

Hospice is not a place where children “go to die.” Hospice does not mean giving up hope. On the contrary, hospice is about providing hope, support and quality of life.

Our goal is to help young patients and their families live every day as fully as possible while remaining in their home environment. By enabling young patients to remain in their home, hospice helps to strengthen the family to improve the quality and quantity of their time together.

Our Mission
To support hope, to provide assistance, and to care.

Who's Eligible
Children who are not expected to reach adulthood are appropriate for admission to Compassionate Care 4 Kids.

Compassionate Care 4 Kids is different from adult hospice in that some families may still be seeking a cure for their child’s illness, and the child may be in our program for many
years.
