Hospice Aide
reports to: Clinical Director
The Hospice Aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort. The home health aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care performed. There are positions available in the following offices:

Additionally, serves as an educational resource to the community regarding hospice care. RN, LPN and previous experience in heath care is strongly preferred. The Physical Therapist functions in accordance with their State Practice Act as applicable. Need a full-time person, but will take part-time or per diem. This position entails a lot of driving. IV skills and/or IV certification. Knowledge of pain and symptom control medications and adjunct therapies. Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
