CCH|Sioux Falls Volunteers at Special Olympics.
On May 4, part of the CCH|Sioux Falls team (including staff, their family members, and volunteers) helped out at the South Dakota South East Area Special Olympics. Because it was a blustery 36 degrees that morning, the event was ended early as the participants, and the volunteers, became too cold! Courage Program Encourages Children.
Recently, CCH|Alexandria held a Courage Grief and Bereavement Support Group at Grant Jr/High School. This six-week group was facilitated by CCH’s own Social Workers Michelle Chevallier and Andrew Fultz. Volunteer Billy Brooks enjoys a potluck dinner at the April Volunteers’ Meeting. Their guest speaker was the head of Eastern Michigan University’s Music Department, who taught the volunteers how to engage patients musically.
